An excerpt from Alice’s new book of essays, Intersecting Sets: A Poet Looks at Science was published in Issue #35 of the Los Angeles-based journal, Rattle. This issue features a tribute to Canadian Poets. Another excerpt—this one from the essay called “Brain Surgery” (on the schooling of poets)—will appear in the next issue of Queen’s Quarterly.
