September 8th, 2021

2.1 Software License. This Section 2.1 applies to customers who have obtained a license for the Software, but not a membership-based license or service such as Creative Cloud Membership (as described in Section 2.2). 14.1.1 If the Software creates an Internet connection and communicates with an Adobe website, either automatically or at the express request of the User, the Privacy Policy applies. Adobe`s privacy policy tracks website visits and addresses in detail the issue of tracking and the use of cookies, web beacons, and similar devices. 1.4 `computer` means a virtual or physical device that accepts information in digital or similar form and manipulates it for a given result on the basis of a series of instructions, including, but not limited to, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, telecommunications equipment, Internet-connected devices and hardware products capable of providing a variety of productivity, operate entertainment or other software applications. 9.1 Use. Adobe AIR can use digital certificates to help you identify the publisher of Adobe AIR applications created by third parties. Adobe AIR also uses digital certificates to determine the identity of servers accessible via Transport Layer Security (TLS), including access via HTTPS. When validating a digital certificate, your device can connect to the Internet to download certificate blacklists (CRLs) or update the list of digital certificates.

This access can be done both by the software and by software-based applications. Digital certificates are issued by external certification bodies and individualisation providers which can be obtained under (all “certification bodies”) or can be signed themselves. 7.1 Use of PDF Files. If you use the software to open a PDF file that has been enabled to display ads, your device can connect to a site managed by Adobe, an advertiser, or another third party. Your Internet Protocol address (“IP address”) will be sent in this case. The party hosting the Site may use technology to send (or use) advertisements or other electronic content that appear in or near the opened PDF file. The site operator may also use JavaScript, web beacons (also known as action tags or unique pixel gifs) and other technologies to increase and measure the effectiveness of advertising and personalize advertising content. Your communication with Adobe websites is subject to Adobe`s online privacy policy under (“Adobe Online Privacy Policy”). Adobe may not have access to or control over the features that a third party may use, and the information practices of third-party sites are not covered by Adobe`s online privacy policy. 16.11 Adobe Presenter. If the software contains Adobe Presenter and the customer installs or uses the Adobe Connect add-in in connection with the use of the software, the customer agrees that it installs and uses this add-in only on a desktop computer and not on a non-PC product, including, but not limited to, a web appliance, a set-top box, to a phone or Webpad device. In addition, the portion of the software embedded in any presentation, information, or content created and generated with the software (the “Adobe Presenter Runtime”) may only be used at the same time as the presentation, information, or content in which it is incorporated.

Customer may not use the Adobe Presenter runtime and ensure that all licensees of such presentation, information, or content do not use the Adobe Presenter term unless it is incorporated into such presentation, information, or content. In addition, Customer must not use the adobe presenter runtime and ensure that all licensees of such presentation, information, or content do not modify, restructure, or dissert the adobe presenter run time. 7.7 Use of Adobe Online Services. If your device is connected to the Internet, the software may facilitate your access to content and services hosted on websites operated by Adobe or its affiliates (“Adobe Online Services”) without additional notice and on a temporary basis. . . .
