Three blog posts featuring Alice

April 7th, 2020

Alice and her work are the topic of conversation on three recent blogs:

Bloom is a website for later-blooming artists, and Susan Sechrist’s blog there “Go Figure” focuses on the intersection of mathematics and arts. She asks Alice about math as an inspiration, what math and poetry might have in common, and what birds might be the best mathematicians.

On the Artists and Climate Change website, Susan Hoffmann Fisher blogs about artists in different disciplines from various countries who are particularly concerned with issues of water. Here she features Alice’s connection to the North Saskatchewan River and some of the poems that come out of it.

Finally, poet Kathleen Wall takes a close and careful look at Alice’s latest collection, Welcome to the Anthropocene, in her blog Blue Duets.
