Wild Equations round-up at AWP

Alice will be at the AWP conference in Los Angeles as part of the “Wild Equations” poetry reading. The annual AWP event (Association of Writers and Writing Programs) is a giant gathering of more than 12,000 attendees.

For poets, language is the structure on which everything depends. But mathematics is a language, too—a universal one with the potential to link the logic of numbers with literary form. In this unusual reading and conversation, Talking Writing magazine presents five math poets with different approaches but a shared belief in a fresh take on the world.
