Alice’s tenth poetry collection, Standard Candles, has been released by the University of Alberta Press. It’s a meld of cosmology and the human heart, and its varied sections range from personal contemplation to snarky social satire. (Now that there are so many models of the universe to choose from, surely there’s one to suit every temperament.)

Alice read from the new book recently at the 2015 Bridges conference on poetry and mathematics in Baltimore. Upcoming readings include the Single Onion reading series at Shelf Life Books (October 15) and the official Edmonton launch during LitFest (October 22).
